Don Rafael Montoya: More than a Colleague, a Great Friend and Companion

On May 30th, the Mesalles family and several Grupo Comeca's executive team members gathered for an emotional farewell to honor Rafael Montoya Solano, affectionately known as "Don Rafa." This small yet meaningful ceremony was a tribute to his extensive and dedicated career of more than 45 years within the organization.

Don Rafa's journey at Grupo Comeca began on December 1st, 1978, at Envases Comeca, the group's first company, following the acquisition of the bankrupt Canco. He started his career alongside Víctor Mesalles Cebriá, the esteemed founder of Grupo Comeca. Their enduring relationship was built on unwavering trust, deep loyalty, and unparalleled commitment, which Don Rafa brought to every aspect of his professional life.
