Grupo Comeca: Celebrating the Resounding Success of the 10th Human Resources Conference

This pivotal event provided a unique platform for HR managers from all Grupo Comeca companies to engage in an intensive work agenda assigned to tackle the pressing challenges in talent management.

On May 23rd and 24th, the Country Inn & Suites Hotel in San José, Costa Rica, was the vibrant host of the 10th Human Resources Conference, titled “New Trends in Human Resources Management.” 

One of the conference's highlights was the in-depth review of the previous year's organizational climate survey results. During this session, action plans for the current period were presented, providing a valuable benchmarking exercise and the development of innovative initiatives that will undoubtedly benefit the various companies within the Group.

Another significant part of the event was Deloitte's interactive presentation on the Newton Project, which heralds the launch of Grupo Comeca's Shared Services Center. The presentation was not just a one-way transfer of information but also included a lively Q&A session. This session provided a valuable opportunity for HR managers to delve deeper into this crucial initiative and clarify any doubts they might have had.

Moreover, the conference served as a unique platform for HR managers to exchange ideas and strategies, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual learning. The solutions shared to tackle the daily challenges in HR management strengthened the group's cohesion and inspired innovative thinking, setting the stage for future growth and success.

The event surpassed all expectations, garnering a 95% positive evaluation in the satisfaction survey conducted at the end. This resounding success is a testament to the collective strength and unity, setting a high bar for the upcoming organizational climate survey scheduled for September and October 2024. All companies can take pride in this achievement.
